Our Story…
Ann, Brian, Liam and Sarah moved to Spring Hill on Kingston road in 1989, a short time after Liam and Sarah were born, not far from where Ann’s Grandpa and 3 Great Uncles who served in the first world war lived. Their names are found on plaques on the Avenue of Honour on Kingston road, a few metres away from home. The idea to slowly rewild convert the small property into a space for Weddings, Retreats, workshops and accomodations, promoting the values of love, consciousness, sustainability and healing came in 2017, a short time after Brian was diagnosed with Parkinsons disease. It was clear that it would soon be too difficult to take care of the property and they would have to sell their family home. No one was ready to do this, so we came up with the idea of converting the Herb Shed into an Airbnb, and Liam and Brian commenced building a Tiny House on wheels. The idea was if we could monetise the property through these accomodations, and down the track, weddings and retreats, we could afford to pay for the help necessary to enable us to stay.
We’ve recently had a large spending spree on a Lake, 2 new Yurts for accomodations, the beginnings of our very own Nature Chapel, a watering system, and Liam and his amazing friends have spent a day on a tree planting spree.
In their other lives, Ann still resides on the property and takes care of the accomodations. She is also a Reiki Practiitioner and Liam works as a Counsellor in Melbourne and comes back to help out on his weekends. Brian is sadly now at the Hepburn House carers facility in nearby Daylesford.
